Nick and I went to my new OB/GYN to talk about family planning. Because of my "advanced maternal age" they ordered blood test(s) for a whole range of birth defects. We're waiting for the results which will be ready in a few weeks. The appointment made me nervous-- they tell you all of the things that can go wrong with the baby. And we're not even pregnant yet!
