Default St Criox-undiscovered island

Just got back from St Criox. Very beautiful island, but still very "undiscovered" by tourist. Most everyone was a native. (Was really nice to have a "semi-native", my BIL, showing us all the great spots.) We did some great snorkling. Ate some very fine fish. And of course drank like a fish. Through BIL, we meet some natives to hang out with, eat dinner with, and drink with.

I fell in love with a mixed drink called the Bushwacker. Taste like a milkshake, but has about 5 kinds of liquor and can hit you hard if you are not careful.

Also purchased a hook bracelet, that I love and will probably never take off. While there I noticed these beautiful bracelets on everyones' wrist. Asked a native that we were hanging out with and she told me the very best place to purchace. (They were originally created by Sonya, who makes them by hand and is the best place to purchase one.) They can be a bit pricey, but they are so beautiful!!! Seeing Sonya's creation, you can spot the knock offs in a glance.

It was so very hot down there. Needed all the shorts, sunscreen, and bathing suits that I took. Kinda wished I had packed an A/C to take too!!

Oh, oh, and bug spray!!! Damn those noseeums (sp??)!!! They loved my legs for dinner the first night we were there, before I could get some bug spray. I had been to the Caribbean before, but I forgot about those blood suckers!!!
