If you don't mind me asking, did your DH vote yes or no for ALPA?
I don't know if my DH voted. I know last week he hadn't voted yet, but I'm not sure if he ever got around to it. I think he was really undecided. He was unionized with ALPA at his old airline and liked it, but he also hated the fact he had to pay 2% towards it. I wouldn't be surprised if he voted no...that is, if he voted.
Now my DH is walking around work wearing an ALPA lanyard even though he might not have voted and might not have fully supported ALPA.
He just wanted/needed a new lanyard and they gave him a free one. I told him that now when people fly with him, they are going to think he is all about ALPA even though he may not be.
He is pretty much just wearing it b/c it was free.
I think I should get him a new lanyard.
