Camping for a few days Have spent the last couple of days camping and hiking in Tennessee. It was the last hoorah before the weather got too cold. (Who am I kidding, it was already too cold just didn't care at the time.)
We did both campground camping and back country camping (not a big fan, I like to take showers). Halloween was spent around the campfire, drinking beer and telling ghost stories. It was a blast!!! We only camp about once a year, but we always end up telling ourselves that we are going to do more camping next year.
We all took the dogs with us (5 people, 4 dogs). My little English Setter, Annie had never been camping with us before. Our two dogs spent the night in the tent, but we let them out before us as we got ready. I found Annie making a nest in the fire ring among the ashes when I came out of the tent one morning. For the rest of the trip (she was completly dirty) everyone called her Cinderall. |
