Okay, so I just got off phone with DH. Started off with the general chit chat to bring him up to speed on what's goin' on around the home front. An excerpt:
" Hi sweetie" - me
"Hey hon" - DH
"How's your day going?"
"Okay...miss u...what's going on at home?"
"You wouldn't believe how windy it is here today. Trees are bending over....."
Cue the 'Pilot' voice - "Is everything put away? Did you get a chance to tie everything down...yada yada yada"
Aaaaaahhhhhhhhh - I just wanna talk to you. I just wanna hear your voice.....I don't want you to FIX anything
Okay girls, what does your pilot try to fix? Instead of having a warm, squishy conversation when DH is away or at home, for that matter....do they all need to 'fix' something? Aarrgh!!!
