I took this quote from another thread.

Guys use video games as a way to live their 'fantasies'. Guys want to blow crap up, kill people, see blood and guts, be the coach of their favorite team, etc. Video games are ways for guys to think that they have this power.

Back in High School, video games were a big male bonding experience. We used to meet at Dias's house and play Bond till 3:00 AM. These were some good memories.

If he says its an hour, give a few hours of playing. Then if you want to get him away from the game, there is an easy way to do it. Wear something sexy and stand in front of the screen. THAT will get his attention away from the game.
