Thank you! This was actually one of the best so far. Dh has NEVER ever done anything for my bday other than go shopping the night before or morning of, and maybe take me out to dinner. (Other than my 16th bday when he took me to Bon Jovi, but since then it's been NOTHING.)

Well since my mom lives here now, she started planning stuff, and he was like "wait a minute, *I* am doing something for her bday!" My mom was going to take me to IKEA and lunch and a movie. So he stole her plan from her. So it wasn't exactly his idea, but AT LEAST he actually did something! We saw Stardust, which I really liked! Very different, pretty clean, not gruesome or too sexy or anything. (Rare these days!)

Then he had dinner and cake planned at his mom's w/ both sides of my family. Again, last "party" I had was my 16th. As for gifts, I got a brand new Epson printer that prints up to 12x12!! It's mostly from MIL, but it was way more than she usually spends, so dh has to do about 25 hours of work for her to help pay for it. He has to help her take down wallpaper in 3 bedrooms, and wash her windows inside and out. I can't believe he's willing to do that!

I have gone through 3 HP printers and have nothing but problems with them over and over. Paper is always getting stuck, ink gets messed up, colors don't come out right. I was so ready to kill my printer on Tuesday because I was trying to print a picture of our family for Caleb to have in his backpack for school, and it wasn't working, and I was bawling and swearing and throwing stuff (yeah, I know, not appropriate, but hey, the printer seems to always work when it doesn't matter and never when I really need it to.) So dh knew that it has been such a source of stress for me. So needless to say, I'm pretty impressed with dh and proud of his efforts, and appreciate the work he is willing to do so I could have a nice printer!
