that's exactly what she did. She introduced herself by her first name. It was pretty painless and she was definitely more gentle than other practitioners that I've had. I got my birth control refilled, and she wanted to run a lipid panel and a "general wellness" panel on me, so I had blood drawn and also got the Gardasil (HPV) vaccine and my Tetnus shot. Major props to the nurse who gave me the shots. She did them in my upper hip so I couldn't see what was going on and also couldn't tense the muscle there. Barely felt it - she said she used to work in pediatrics so she's developed a good technique. Since Gardasil is a series of 3, you can bet I'll be going back to her for the next two - and any other vaccines i'll ever need!
