some other boards are Flightinfo and Airline Pilot Central... but APC, only pilots are allowed (they threw out all the non-pilots) and flightinfo promotes personal attacks among the ranks and they charge $10 to join.

When did they start charging for Flightinfo? I ahve been on there for along time and there was never a charge? I don't really care for that board though.
Most airlines seem to have their own boards started by pilots, not actually started by the company.
Airlinepilotforums.com is one too. They seem to have some recent SW stuff on there.
