When I was popcorn (think life-size, red and white container with paper mache popcorn coming out of it), it didnt fit in the car, so I had to walk it to a party. When we were grapes, we prepared our faces and outfits at home and then constructed the outfits so that we could put them on easily. I guess, for the most part, my costumes have layers and you do as much at home and simplify as much as you can so finishing the costume on the road isnt too much work.
