OK - I have a dumb question - and I'd go ask in Jet Careers, but I'm not a member, and I'm afraid DH will see it and know what I'm cooking up for Christmas. (He doesn't visit here)

What day did Amelia Earhart leave on her trip around the world. I know it was June 1937, and she disappeared July 2, 1937, but I can't find what date she actually left!!!

And anyone who knows when she stayed at the hotel Sierra Academy is now located in would be good too!!!

Help!!!!
