Default 60 Minutes Sunday Night..

Did anyone else watch? i was just roving through channels trying to find something interesting and i actually came upon something *interesting!*...

it was a conversation about a study done on women in high exec positions opting out of their positions to raise a family...

nothing wrong with that at all, it was just interesting that harvard reported that 72% of all their women graduates had stopped climbing the ladder all together when it came time to have kids.

so in the long run, the lady (who did the study) was saying that the 50's are coming back around and at some point, women won't be able to advance in the workforce because their employers will assume that they'll be leaving at some point to have a family. Thereby keeping wages low and upward opportunities garnered more towards men (just like before in the 50's when women didn't have the opportunity to work)...i find that kindof scary for our future women!

at least that was my take on it! anyone else see it? and if so, what was your take?
