I know I haven't been around in quite a long while. There are so many newbies on here. I feel so out of the loop!! I guess life just happened. It's been like someone has pushed the fast forward button and I am trying to get it to stop!
I have missed everyone so much... and I am still fearing that I will not have a very strong presence on here for a few more weeks. But I am hoping things will change.
So, the low down.....
1. FINALLY out of the in- law's house.. we are moved into our newly built home in Frisco (LOVE IT!)
2. DH got upgrade!! Didnt' think we'd see CA so soon!! He is starting training in April. Awarded Ontario, but awaiting to see if he may hold the new base in San Antonio. (Crossing our fingers). DH is nervous but very excited.
3. Just accepted a new job.... I am going back to work full time. (with a 2 year old.. what am I thinking!!! ) I got hired as the first physical therapist of a new rehab facility opening April 15th. I will be assisting with program development and will stay full time until they are fully staffed and hopefully then I can go back to part time. I am hoping for opportunities to do some supervisory roles. But it is really exciting as I will be working with adults again, and can focus on treating specifically head injury and stroke again. No more peds for me!
My current job is an hour commute 1 way. Now my commute will be 15-30 minutes and right across the street from our church.
4. I am finally running again! Finding the time has been really hard, and will be harder with DH on reserve. Trying to train for another 1/2 and 1 full marathon and complete them before trying to have another baby! Since it only took me 2 years to get back to it after then first one, this may be the last time I am able to do a marathon before I am too old or too bogged down.
I am trying to catch up on all the posts. I may never get totally caught up. Hugs to everyone. I have missed you all.
