My parents told me NOTHING about sex, etc! When I was 11 my mom handed me a box of pads and said "here- some day you'll need these". I read the instructions and still had no idea what the heck they were for! As for sex my mom gave me an artsy book that was sort of a "pop up" (yes I said pop up) book. I guess I don't need to tell you what popped up. As for pads, I remember trying them the first time, thinking it was gross and learned how to use tampons (myself!) the next day!
Yup, great parenting. I'm doind things differently with my kids!!
