Default Re: S-E-X Talk

I know that 7 or 8 seems early to talk about using a tampon but my niece was telling me that when she was in 5th grade (apx 10 years old) she went into the bathroom and found several of her friends freaking out. One of them was bleeding and they thought she was dying. Out of the 4 girls, Claire was the only one that knew what was going on and could calmly handle the situation. 10 years old seems a little young but according to her it isn't uncommon at all.

Apparently my sister did a better job the second time around. Further up in the thread I talked about her first talk with her son that wasn't quite as successful.

Another year or two and I'll be going there. I can't wait. NOT!
