Re: All I want for V-day DH cooked like a mad-man on V-day. I came home from school to a sashimi (sp?) platter with heart shaped hummus. Grilled vegetables, grilled shrimp, homemade pesto and couscous. Finished off with a green tea and some Shiraz. I'm not sure how many cultures he mixed but it was delicious.
He even picked up special sushi platters for everything. It looked awesome and I took pictures, I'll post them later along with recipes. We'll be repeating this recipe for our next guests.
Funny thing, DH accidently included habanero peppers (hottest pepper sold in the stores) with the vegetables. We each took a bite of those peppers and we couldn't eat for 15 minutes. My mouth was on fire. He felt terrible for including the peppers but I told him romantic stories always have a hint of hilarity (at least for us).
