My vote is yes it's a Hallmark holiday. We never know is DH is going to be home, so we never make plans. Our little ones get a treat- not like they need more sugar after all they get from school V-day parties. But the relatives mail them cards and goodies.
I'd much rather have a night out for our anniversary!
