In our case, DH parents use the pass privledges more than we do! They use SWA a lot (he flies for ExpressJet right now) since it is convenient and pretty cheap (25$ each way plus a little extra). They fly once a month almost from MHT to MCO. We usually all go to Hawaii each year (on CAL) and they have been to Europe a few times. DH and I don't use it as much as we should. We don't travel during the summer since we have a summer place. We have been going to Florida every few months, usually on CAL in the past but last month we did on SWA. They were so nice and friendly! When I non-rev on CAL they wait until the last minute to clear non-revs. SWA had only 8 open seats and cleared me at 6:15 for an 8:30 flight!

For DH's company only spouse, kids, and his parents (no other family). Everyone else has to use the buddy passes if they want....

As far as the buddy passes, we never give them to anyone. It is cheaper to buy tickets and have a confirmed seat!
