Yeah!!! The kids are absolutely excited. Having just moved from Wisconsin to the CLT area, the kids were going through snow withdrawls. I am so glad that they were able to experience some snowfall this winter.
It is hilarious how this city shuts down with just the threat of snow fall. I went out last night to get a gallon of milk and you would have thought that the world was coming to an end with last minute shoppers trying to stock up before the snow storm hit. What storm? We've had maybe 4 inches and everything from doctors offices to schools are shut down. Boy in Wisconsin the kids still attended school with temps at
-40 (with the windchill) and yes more than 4 inches of snow. |
