One thing about Friendship is that no matter how long time has passed, you can always carry on a conversation as if it were yesterday. I am so happy that you both got reconnected. My closest friends are from College. I guess that is during some of the best times of my life. And I owe it to them for all the good times. Sadly, we are all spread out but, every few months we do talk to each other. YOur post reminds me that I need to go out for a visit!!
