Re: Cooking Corn... Corn is actually very creamy inside (think: creamed corn in the can) and boiling it in milk and sugar actually helps to bring out the natural creaminess as well as the natural sweetness.
We personally do ours on the grill, but my dad has made it with milk and sugar before. I, on the other hand am too cheap to use my milk that way....that stuff is too expensive!!!
Another good thing to do with an ear of corn (once its cooked) is to put it in a plastic bag with a squeeze of fresh lime juice and dash of chili powder. Close the bag and shake like crazy!
