My normal size is 34D. They're a bit on the small side, but it's a (somewhat) easy size to find in stores so that's what I wear. I'm already in my 'big' bras from last time. I'm now starting to fill out my 36DDs. Ugh. I didn't/am not going to breastfeed, so they start deflating rather quickly once you go through the whole 'milk coming in' thing. It hurt for a few days, then it was gone, and a few weeks later I was wearing my old bras again.

Maternity clothes manufactuers say they leave 'growing room', and to order your pre-pregnancy size. Don't believe them. If you buy maternity clothes in the same size you usually are you more than likely won't be able to wear them by the end. Generally speaking, buy one size larger. This allows for your 'growth', and also for laundry shrinkage. As always, manufacturers actual sizing may vary, and try everything on before you buy.

It was several months before I was able to wear all my clothes after having Alex. But I gained 50 pounds, which was WAY too much. It was entirely my own fault, and I'm doing things different this time around. Thankfully I managed to loose almost 60 pounds before getting pregnant again, so I didn't have the 'holdover weight' some women have. I'm hoping to only gain recommended 25-35 pounds this time!
