I've been reading all these posts and keeping myself out of it because of my strong opinions on this topic and I was concerned that I would be much less than tactful but I just can't hold back any longer. I just think what you are doing is wrong, completely wrong on all accounts!! This is a married man who has a wife who's devoted everything to him and loves him more than anything. What you are doing is going to ruin her life and she is completely innocent here. I think it's horrible to do something that you KNOW is going to ruin someone else's life. the only consolation I have with this entire thing is that our Lord judges us and He WILL judge you and this man and believe me, the day will come when you will pay for these actions! You went into this relationship knowing full well what you were doing and how it was going to affect the lives of others yet you continued with no regard to other peoples emotions or lives. One other point that I want to make good and clear to you, just because we are married to pilots does NOT make our marriages any less of a marriage, and hence, does NOT give you justification for what you are doing! We have real marriages with these men, real families, real committments and REAL love! I believe that our committments to our marriages (and vice versa!) are stronger than most families because we do have to deal with separation more so than most couples.
I am sorry if I've offended anyone with these strong comments but like I said earlier, I've been trying to stay out of these posts because of my opinions on the topic but it's been driving me insane and I just felt compelled to say something. The actions of this man are exactly what gives pilots a bad name! What is sad is that a very high majority of pilots love their wives and are 100% committed to their families and yet the actions of very, very few can give the entire industry a bad rap!
